Correct identification of given data and sketch of situation. 5 points
Correct Selection of physics principles and equations. 3 points
Correct application of mathematics to the solution. 3 points
Correct calculation and identification of the solution. 3 points
Correct use of units throughout the problem. 1 point



  • In multiple part problems, the points will be distributed among the various parts.
  • Points will be deducted for incorrect work that appears along with correct work.
